Personally, I see nothing wrong with a show that is a picture of what’s to
come in the near future as well as those who are afraid of change. It’s too bad
that one city is going to be left behind the times. The New Normal has a good
message and is a great comedy. One of my DISH coworkers and I were talking
about our favorite shows, and she brought up The New Normal as one of her new
favorites. After watching it on my Hopper using PrimeTime Anytime, which
records all four major networks, I could see why she likes it so much. I haven’t
missed a single episode because of the feature either! I hope The New Normal
continues well into the future.

Vegas and Elementary are among my new favorite shows. They
both have strong acting, and it’s entertaining enough that I plan to save the
entirety of their freshman seasons to my Hopper—I get all nostalgic and need a
fix of memorable moments between episodes. It’s nice to have a DVR with plenty
of recording space; now I just need to convince a couple of buddies that work
with me at DISH to appreciate the new faces of the Holmes franchise.

I’m happy that NBC’s back on track after the Olympics. I
love to watch all my PrimeTime Anytime shows which record every night. I never
have to pick and choose what I’m going to watch thanks to my Hopper. Now, I can
watch Americas Got Talent my favorite show commercial free using my Auto Hop
feature. I always hate when I have to deal with commercials until I used the
Auto Hop on my Hopper. This feature simply lets the user decide if you want to
skip commercials or not a day after primetime shows have recorded. The
commercials will always be there if you want to watch them, Auto hop just does
the fast-forwarding for you. I was thrilled when a couple of my coworkers at
Dish told me about its function, and not having to manually fast forward any
more. This will ease the burden of having to replace my remote batteries often.

Between the great dishes that the contestants on both
"Hell's Kitchen" and "Masterchef" prepare and Chef
Ramsey’s telling them about them selves; I can’t get enough of watching this
show. I’ve actually been able to watch the whole season of both shows so far
because I know have the Hopper. I work for Dish and I can tell you that the
Hopper offers customers a PrimeTime Anytime feature that automatically records
all my prime time shows that come on CBS, NBC, FOX and ABC everyday in HD.

While using the Auto Hop feature, there still is the option to watch commercials, but who would want to do that? When I use my DVR, I skip through commercials anyway and the Auto Hop feature makes it easier to do that. When I came into work about a month ago at Dish, I found out from a co-worker that the Auto Hop is a huge hit with its customers, because customers like to have the choice to watch commercials. I don’t know about anyone else out there, but I personally don’t enjoy watching commercials and I’m glad Dish gave us the technology to skip over them easily if we want.

Auto Hop is no different than the skip forward button on the remote other than you have to press it fewer times. I’m glad my co-worker at Dish showed me the Auto Hop feature, because I like how much time and frustration that saves me. If advertisers want their ads to be seen, maybe they should make better commercials. I think Dish is only recognizing what their customers want and gave it to them with the Auto Hop feature on the Hopper DVR.
